Hi guys, my name is Steve Olson, I'm a friend of Dracs for quite sometime now... After reading this unfortunate news. I was thinking, maybe we should do some kind of Art show benefit. With the proceeds going to Drac and the operation... GREAT IDEAS!!!!! We have received an amazing amount of ideas for additional fundraising. I should have known with this group of creative people we would come up with great stuff! I'm going to spend the weekend weeding through these and get back to people to begin to organize the efforts. Please stay close as we unfold these ideas. And keep them coming.....

We are so sorry to hear about Drac. We have another friend who has a similar situation and have been offering Red Struck Four talent to several fund raisers here in Huntington Beach. We'd love to help do the same for Drac.
Its quite simple, we need to find a place that will offer the space during a weekday (here in Huntington we've used Galaghers), there is no cover but cash donations are asked at the door.
Between myself, you (of course!) and Drac we could surely come up with some talent for the event.
Raffle tickets are sold throughout the nite, and all the money would go to Drac's fund. Then between acts we do raffles which are donated (things like skateboards, clothing and music is always a big hit) If Drac or you have a location (preferably a bar) where you know the owners, usually we can request a cut of the bar tab too.

to anyone who has ever stayed on dracs couch or recieved words of wisdom or been to any of dracs great benefit partys,its time to dig deep and do the right thing this isnt rocket science this is a good mans life your helping someone who deserves a helping hand hes been a good friend to everyone so with that said our great friend needs us now any amount is going to make a difference maybe 10% of your monthley income its not a lot but it works or dont party for a month you will be ok and you will get clairity at the same time and better yourself thank you for your help
Hey Steve, great news! Otis (aka Bad Otis) will help coordinate and Art Show benefit and contribute art as well. He has lots of ideas and will call you soon to discuss. He thinks he may have a venue, but if anyone has ideas for a good art venue that would be willing to donate the space, OC or LA, please let us know. Also, we will be looking for donations that can be raffled off at this event. Everyone, stay close as we develop this idea. - Nancy

I attended Drac's annual Christmas party in December with a couple of friends that know Drac well. I would love to donate time and ideas towards a benefit or three. I know a lot of artists and musicians and will do whatever I can to help. Please give me a call as soon as possible so that I can get the ball rolling on my end, or help with whatever you need.

I would like to help in any way- helping to organize a fundraiser, performing on one, whatever.
Also, wondering if anyone is organizing post-surgery/ after-care for Drac and Jet...like house cleaning, running errands, grocery shopping, making meals ( or preparing them and freezing them so they are vailable 24/7....
I'd love to help out with this. i'll be out of the country from march 13-24 ( but thinking good thoughts for Drac while I'm gone) and can help out before I leave and after I return... if anyone else is into this, please contact me!
